
Things to do: Monahans Sandhills State Park has sand surfing as well as camping, hiking, picnicking, bird and wildlife watching as well as horseback riding.Rentals: Sand disk available for sand surfing at headquarters. You pay for every two hours. We rented our dish for 4 hours, and it was less than 20 dollars for two.Equestrian: The State Park has 800 acres area for horses. The trails are rugged and not adequately marked.Cost: Entrance fee into the park is 4 dollars daily. Children 12 and under are free, and overnight camping is 15 dollars a site.
