By now you all know that I'm obsessed with Superman. Not only is he my favorite superhero but I just adore him and frequently lose my marbles in public when talking about this fictional man. Y'all know no shame or care is given. At the fair there was an entire section dedicated to this great being. Warner Brothers is tryin' to get everyone hype for the DVD release of the newest Superman movie. Some of the original costumes of the different movies/ tv shows are travelin' around the US for fans to see and take pictures with. Hands down this had to be the highlight of my time at the fair thus far. Man, y'all don't even know. I was pushin' babies out the way. Ok, maybe I'm lyin' about that part but I was actin' a fool. Did I also mention that when I get excited my voice gets real high pitched and I sound more like a child than usual?
Another thing our fair is known for but I have yet to mention is the animals. I wish I had some great pictures for ya but I was to busy enjoying the animals. Growing up I always loved the petting zoo. I fed some of the most precious goats and it was so cute to see a bunch of rams trying to battle each other. Pretty sure most people show up for the Ostrich races. Yep, y'all heard me right. We race those babies like it ain't nothin'.
We are also know for our show animals. Many of the High School AG programs throughout Dallas Fort Worth bring animals. I'm pretty sure I told y'all that Bestfran Numero Uno is a HS AG teacher. She's been all over Facebook braggin' cause her students won: Grand Champion AOB, Grand Champion Sr. Division, Reserve Grand Champion Jr. Division and won Sr. Showmanship. So I texted her and asked her for pics for my post and the response I got back was, "I don't think I took any on my phone. I just castrated pigs though." Ha, y'all this is why I love this girl.
Overall my time at the fair has been amazing and I've almost accomplished everything that was on my Fair list. I have one more day at the fair and I'm hoping I can get around to the last few things I wanted to do.
Love the title and your pictures :)
