Before I get into today's post I need to do a quick FYI! Y'all know that I prefer to reply to comments via email. If ya didn't know then read this post real quick. There is no guarantee that you will come back to my blog but I'm sure you will get my email. Well, it has gotten ridic with the number of no-reply/no-comment bloggers I am encountering. I was told that this is happening because many of you are switching to Google +. Basically if you haven't gotten an email where I am replying back to your comment left then this is you and you need to fix it asap. Go in your settings and click to show email. I promise it won't actually give your email out to the world. But I do promise that it will open up a whole new world and you will realize that bloggers have been trying to connect with you and weren't ignoring you. So, I have no shame and will freely admit that I wrote this post while watching the 2007 version of Hairspray. What ever happened to Nikki Blonsky? Anyways back to the regular schedule post.

I don't know if I've mentioned this on le blog but not only did I double majored in college but I also had a minor. I have a B.S. in Political Science/ B.S in History with a minor in Gender Studies. Can you say unemployed/underemployed fave times fast. I know I sure can. I feel like this is something I haven't talked about much on le blog. I spend many a free day watching CSAPN etc. I always joke with Sherry and James cause we will stay up late watching fillibusters and text each other while doing so. The other day when Ted Cruz held up the Senate, Sherry texted us and goes, "That's why you always keep a pair of headphones with you. You never know when a good fillibuster will happen" Whelp, I don't know what that had to do with today's post and me telling you a few things I am loving. Oh wait, now I remember. I wrote that to ultimately say don't be alarmed when you see me with pictures of the weirdest books. That's just the liberal arts nerd in me.

Finally: Here are just a few things I'm lovin' this week.I don't know about y'all but just because a cd/song is old doesn't mean it doesn't bring new life to me when I hear it. Lately I've listened to a lot of Scotty McCreery. He just came out with a new cd and I used the iTunes gift card Chevy gave me to buy it. Thank you Chevy. I know a few days ago I was thankin' life for the cold weather. Well, I'm still thankin' life. Even though it has warmed up a bit. Yesterday it got in the 80's. Texas weather is so unpredictable most days. Maybe it's just me but I get in a whole different mind set when fall rolls around. I've always been a people watcher and this time of year always brings that out. Most days I just wanna curl up with a good book, something warm to drink and have music playing in the background.  All of the tings pictured about allow me to do just that. wait, I shouldn't say allow cause I have actually done that with all of these things. Heck don't even get me in a coffee shop or cafe. I will fall in love with life all over again.

And if you was wonderin' The title of my post is an actual song from Landon Pigg. What music/books etc are you lovin' this week?

Linkin' with Megan Ashley and Kristen.

  2. Agree with your sentiment that sitting casually in a cafe could make you fall in love with live all over again. Awesome.

  3. You're absolutely right about the old music! I love to read random books if you've ever got any good recommendations, I am really horrible at choosing the right book, but I don't like your average Nicholas Sparks and such! Thanks for linking! :)

  5. I actually did fall in love at a coffee shop. lol. I was a barista, and Dan walked in. Obviously, he took one look at me and fell in love (hehehe), and here we are happily married, 3 kids and 9 years later.

    1. Oh my goodness Jamie, this has to be one of my favorite comments. I obviously need to spend even more time at my local coffee shop.
