Monday, December 9: Tell us all about it. We wanna know what Christmas means to you.
Can we start off with an Amen, Praise Baby Jesus? This doesn't have much to do with my post but it bared mentionin'. Yesterday marked 10 years since my back surgery to "fix" my Scoliosis. I remember this time 2003 I was in a hospital room scared I'd have a nightmare. While most would have been scared of all the things that could go wrong and what would happened afterwards, I was not. I was more scared that once they put me under I might have a nightmare and not be able to wake up from it since I'd be under the influence of all the drugs. Yes, I'm an odd one. We'll just say it's part of my charm. I'm just happy to be postin' this post as a much happier and healthier version of myself.

Anways, Happay Day 1 of 12 Days of Christmas. If ya lost than click that hand drawn link on the side of Le Blog and fill yo self up... STAT! Then come back and link away. Lovin' the mugs? They're some designs as well as Christmas presents I'm workin' on. Ya know, that store I say I'm gonna start in the new year. But really I just wanna talk about Christmas and what it means to me: Warmth & Love.

Warmth:The warm drinks that fill my belly and sooth my soul.
The warmth a smile from a passin' stranger brings as they wish me Happy Holidays.
The warmth I enjoy because I know the Good Lord has blessed me greatly.
The warmth of friends and family I shall surround myself with.

Love: The love God clearly has for us to send his son to earth. Even if it wasn't in December.
The love my Parents have for my seester: born two days before Christmas.
The love that can be tasted in each holiday dish served.
The love that fills the air as the day draws near.

Yeah, that's what Christmas means to me. May your day be filled with warmth and love. Y'all give love today.

    1. Thanks Erin. You can get them at Target. That's where I get all my white mugs to design on.
